Malik Beasley's 25-point game helps Lakers secure victory over Warriors

Malik Beasley scores 25 points as the Los Angeles Lakers defeat Golden State Warriors 124-111.

Beasley has scored two 20-point games in his four starts for the Lakers after being acquired from Utah.

Beasley started strong with eight of the Lakers' first 10 points and then added eight more in the third quarter.

Austin Reaves had 17 points off the bench and made all six of his shots from the field.

Reaves scored 13 points in the third quarter when the Lakers broke the game open.

Seven Lakers players scored in double figures despite quiet nights for LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

James had 13 points but was 5 of 20 from the floor, shooting 25% or worse on at least 20 attempts for only the sixth time in his career.

Davis had 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Klay Thompson led Golden State with 22 points, but the defending NBA champions have lost four of their last five and are 29-30.
