According to multiple sources, including his representatives and Variety, actor Lance Reddick passed away on March 17, 2023, at the age of 60 in his Studio City home in Los Angeles due to natural causes.
Prior to his passing, Reddick had completed a press run for his upcoming film, John Wick: Chapter 4 . Reddick was a highly acclaimed actor known for his work on both television and film. He rose to fame for his role as Cedrick Daniels on all five seasons of the HBO series The Wire, and also appeared on shows like Lost and Oz . In addition, he starred in all four of the John Wick movies alongside Keanu Reeves .
Reddick began his screen career in the mid-1990s, with guest roles on series including The Nanny and New York Undercover. He went on to big-screen roles in Great Expectations, Godzilla, and White House Down, among others. In addition to his acting work, he was also known for his voiceover work in video games, including Destiny and Horizon Zero Dawn.
